At Wear Your Heart, we take pride in the quality of every product we ship. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns, exchanges, refunds, and cancellations are accepted. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
3.1 General Return Policy
All products sold by Wear Your Heart are, as a general rule, non-returnable. We do not accept returns for reasons such as change of mind, size preference (unless you received an incorrect size), or dislike of colour.
However, we accept return and exchange requests exclusively in the following circumstances:
- You received a damaged or defective product.
- You received a wrong product (different from what was ordered).
3.2 Return Window
Return requests must be raised within 7 days of the delivery date. Requests raised after this window will not be entertained, regardless of the reason.
3.3 Conditions for Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:
- The product must be unused, unwashed, and unworn.
- The product must be in its original condition with all tags intact.
- The product must be in its original branded packaging.
- The damage or defect must be clearly documented with photographs and/or a short unboxing video.
- The issue must fall under 'damaged product received' or 'wrong product received'.
Products that have been washed, worn, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.
3.4 How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Email us at care@wearyourheartofficial.com within 7 days of delivery.
- Include the following in your email: (a) Your Order ID, (b) Clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect item, and (c) An unboxing video clearly showing the product and packaging.
- Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days and communicate the outcome.
- If the return is approved, you will be provided with our return shipping address.
3.5 Return Shipping
- Self-ship — Returns are not picked up by us. You are required to self-ship the product to our designated return address.
- The reverse shipping cost is to be borne by the customer.
- We recommend using a trackable courier service. We are not liable for packages lost in transit during a return shipment.
3.6 Dispute Resolution for Damaged / Wrong Orders
We investigate all damage or wrong-item claims thoroughly. Upon receiving your return request with photographic and/or video evidence, we will:
- Liaise with our production and quality control team to verify the issue.
- Coordinate with our courier partner (Shiprocket / courier company) as needed.
- Communicate our decision to you within 5–7 business days of receiving your claim.
Our decision on return eligibility, after investigation, shall be final.
3.7 Exchanges
- Exchanges are only available for cases where you received a wrong item or a damaged product.
- Exchange is subject to product availability. If the requested item (correct size or product) is unavailable, we will process a refund instead.
- Each order is eligible for a maximum of one (1) exchange.
- Exchange requests must be initiated within the 7-day return window as described above.
3.8 Refunds
Refund Timeline
Once we receive the returned item and complete quality inspection, refunds will be processed within 7 business days.
Refund Modes
- Prepaid Orders (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, Wallets) — Refund will be credited to the original payment source.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders — Refund will be processed via UPI transfer. You will need to provide your UPI ID.
Non-Refundable Items
- Shipping charges are non-refundable (there are currently no shipping charges, as we offer free shipping on all orders).
- Partial refunds for partially damaged orders or missing items in a bundle are not offered. Each case will be reviewed individually.
3.9 Cancellations
Cancellation by Customer
- Orders may be cancelled within 6 hours of placement, provided the order has not yet been dispatched.
- To cancel an order, email us immediately at care@wearyourheartofficail.com with your Order ID and request for cancellation.
- No cancellation fee applies.
- Cancellations requested after 6 hours or for orders already dispatched will not be accepted.
Cancellation by the Company
- We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion. This may occur in cases such as: pricing errors on the Website, suspected fraudulent activity, inability to confirm payment, product quality issues at the time of packing, or if the product does not meet our quality standards.
- In all such cases, you will be notified and a full refund will be issued promptly.
3.10 Important Notes
- All return and exchange decisions are subject to our internal investigation and quality check.
- Abuse of the return policy (e.g., repeated claims without genuine cause) may result in future orders being refused.
- This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and applicable Indian consumer protection regulations.
